Our Top Five Picks
Brunch is always a good idea, especially when so many Sydney cafes are now offering delicious vegan options. We’re honestly spoilt for choice. Check out our top five brunch spots in Sydney:
Oh My Days, Glebe
You know it will be a wonderful day if you’ve got a brunch date locked in at Oh My Days. These guys are on a mission to transform Sydney’s palates towards a plant-based fare. Their menu celebrates sustainably sourced ingredients, including their signature “buttery” freshly-baked croissants. You might just have to visit once a week so you can try all the goodies on their 100% vegan menu!
Nutie, Surry Hills
Life is always a little bit sweeter after a trip to We Are Nutie. These legends may be known for their playful desserts and GF donuts, but they’ve also got a killer brunch menu. We can’t go past their kimchi and leek pancake with enoki mushrooms, and the apple pie waffle is sure to impress those sweet tooths. You donut know what you’re missing out on!
Petty Cash, Marrickville
Petty Cash is one of Sydney’s go-to places for hearty vegan food. This friendly and inclusive café serves up a mean vegan big brekky with a rich tofu scramble. However, their sweet treats deserve all the glory – we’re talking Milo fudge brownies and dulce de leche cheesecake. If you’re ever in the Inner West, make sure to pop by (and yes, dessert is mandatory).
Herb n Sprout Co, Maroubra
Spreading the love for all things veggie, Herb n Sprout Co is a wonderful vegetarian and vegan café run by a mother/daughter team. They’re all about good times, handpicked ingredients, bold flavours and colourful food. With so many delicious options, you’ll be spoilt for choice! If you are looking for recommendations, we hear that their chickpea omelette and seasonal pancake stacks are the biggest hits.
Nourished Cafe and Lounge, Avalon and Narrabeen
Seasonal food that’s healthy and naturally delicious is what Nourished Cafe is all about! These guys consider their customers as family and are never too busy to customise your food to meet any dietary requirements. Everything on their all-day breakfast and lunch menu is wholesome and packed with goodness. We recommend their fresh soba noodle bowl or an acai smoothie bowl to grab on the go.
