Cinnamon Donuts

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 3 tbsp protein powder (we use @botanikablends)
  • 3/4 cup soy milk
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • Pinch of salt

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C
  2. In a large bowl combine dry ingredients 
  3. In a separate bowl whisk together the wet ingredients 
  4. Combine and mix the dry & wet ingredients until the batter is evenly hydrated
  5. Pipe the batter into greased doughnut pan/moulds
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden
  7. Remove and let cool
  8. Top with icing sugar, cinnamon, or whatever you fancy!
