French Onion Soup Ingredients 1 French baguette1/2 cup vegan butter5 large brown onions1 cup dry white wine5 cups vegan beef style stock4 sprigs thyme2 bay leaves2 cloves minced garlicFave melty vegan cheeseSalt and pepper Method Thinly slice onions and add them to a pot with butter on a medium low heat. Stir for 30 mins or until onions are transparent then turn up the heat and stir until onions are dark golden. Add garlic and pour over wine. Stir flour through for 1 minute, then add herbs and stock and stir through. Lower heat to a gentle simmer, cover pot and leave for 30-45 minutes. Ladle into an oven safe dish. Top with lightly toasted baguette and vegan cheese. Grill until cheese is desired meltiness.
